Trust Utility Management has invested £ 580k in its vehicle fleet, reflecting its ongoing focus on self-delivery of services and materials to secure cost and time efficiencies for customers.
The new purchases include five 7.5 ton tippers , two 8-wheel grab lorries and a new 18 ton Tarmac tipper wagon to support its growing asphalt operations in the East Midlands. The company’s liveried fleet now totals over 100 vehicles.
The company has also invested in a CCTV equipment van for its gully cleansing division, which uses the mobile technology to carry out drain surveys and inspections.
The vehicle specifications reflect Trust Utility Managements ongoing commitment to promote road safety within the construction industry and the company has worked with its suppliers to adapt the vehicles with the safety of its drivers and other road users in mind.

11KV & LV Cable installation For Morrison Utility Services – Major Projects

Scope of Works- Installation of 11KV cable for network reinforcement and new LV cable for replacement of existing Consac main.
The 1.2 km route incorporated carriageway, footpath and verge on ‘A’ Roads, busy residential areas with numerous driveway crossings and quieter residential streets.
A working supervisor liaising with the client and highway authority alongside dedicated reinstatement teams on site meant all access was maintained minimising the effect for traffic and residents. The scheme was completed within schedule despite additional work requested by WPD after excavation works had begun.

Trust Utility Management are delighted to announce they have now achieved Independent Connection Provider status through LLoyds National Electricity Registration Scheme
As part of an on-going process to introduce competition to the electrical service market, LLoyds operate the National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) on behalf of the UK Distribution Network Operators (DNOs).
Under the scheme they perform technical assessment of the service providers who elect to be assessed for accreditation for contestable works associated with the installation of electrical connections. Once accredited, the service provider is a NERS provider (commonly known as an Independent Connection Provider (ICP).
As a NERS provider we can now undertake work such as design new connections to the network, dig and fill trenches on and around the property to be connected, and install electrical switches and transformers, offering our clients a one stop shop for Electricity supply.

Virgin Media, the UK’s ultrafast internet provider, is embarking on “Project Lightning” the single largest investment in broadband digital infrastructure in the country for more than a decade; creating thousands of new jobs in what will be a multi-billion pound boost to the national economy.
With the support of parent company Liberty Global plc (“Liberty Global”) Virgin Media will extend its unrivalled fibre-rich network to approximately four million additional premises over the next five years. This will increase the number of homes and businesses to which Virgin Media can offer services by almost a third; from around half of the country today to nearly 17 million premises by 2020.
Trust Utility Management are currently undertaking installation work on this Virgin Media project for O’Connor Utilities Ltd, working throughout Nottingham on a number of schemes consisting of Duct Installation, Cabinet erection and the contruction of underground chambers.

Trust have recently been issued a framework by Amey to undertake works on the Severn Trent Water Sewer Services contract. Trust will be completing all planned R&M works in the Nottinghamshire region as well as all frame and cover replacements throughout the East Midlands. The works are commencing on June 1st 2015 and as part of mobilisation Trust will TUPE in circa 40 operatives from the existing contractor.
This represents an exciting opportunity for Trust and we are looking forward to forging a strong partnership with Amey.

Due to an already successful and prominent relationship, Trust have recently secured an increase to our work volume across our flagship contract with Morrison Utility Services working on behalf of Western Power Distribution. This increase in work also saw an incoming TUPE of 13 operatives from Morrisons.
With this increase in work, Trust are now offered all excavate and lay works throughout specific areas in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

Trust have recently opened sister company Nutbrook Aggregates, covering 7 acres within our 18 acre Site at Foundry Park in Stanton by Dale. Nutbrook have a license to carry 250,000 tonnes of aggregate as well as the resale of recycled material compliant with WRAP protocol.
Nutbrook can receive inert waste including soil and stone, concrete, bricks and blocks and ceramics. Furthermore, Nutbrook can provide materials such as Virgin Limestone, MOT Type 1, 6F2, Fill Sand, Recycled Pipe Bedding and Topsoil.
